Merry Christmas

Happy Holidays.............. can you help out a new jack figure out the widest rim that you can put on a 2006 unlimited without lifting it.........Gonna buy my jeep a late gift and was thinking it would like some rims.....

widest? lol What are you planning on doing? floating? 10"? 12" it would fit if you have the right back spacing.

But the main thing is tell us what are you doing so we can give u the right advice...

Are you talking the width of the wheel or the diameter? You can pretty much run up to 30" tires without lifting it, so any wheel/ tire combo that size or smaller will work. 15" x 8" is pretty much the standard wheel for pre '06 Jeeps. Newer ones run 16" from the factory.

I run 33x12.5 tires on 15"x8" rims.

also keep in mind, just because the tires say they are 10" wide, you do not need 10" wide rim. Most people mount 12.5" wide tires on 8" rims.

I want to put on wider rims like I previuosly stated. I have the stock jeep wheels and would like a wider looking rim.

you can put a 12" rim and 14" tire with no problem assuming you have the correct backspacing. Yes your tires will stick out but do you care? How much deeper are you looking? Keep in mind, too wide and not high enough will make the rear end of ur jeep look goofy
