MetalCloak No Lift 35's

MetalCloak Tube fenders claims that you can fit 35's up front with no rubbing if you have the proper rim backspacing. Any comments, pictures, experience? Please help me out. i am going to get the arched Metal Cloak fenders and dont know if i want to do a lcog build with 35's or just jack it up and put a 6 in lift in. i would prefer putting 35's on stock and see what that would look like. I am not against cutting out rear fenders and putting in an OME suspension but would want to keep the lift under 2.5 in. PICS and opinions please

I don't know too much about 'em. They're sick lookin definitely, but I still feel like you're going to be stuffing 35s under there and won't be able to disco, but what do I know?

Though, if you order from 'em, enter polarbear85 as the code to get 5% off.

It's got a Willy's body, a Chevy engine, Ford axles, GM transmission, and Dodge steering components... it must be a Wrangler.

You can run 35's no lift on the metalcloaks. You need to bumpstop it properly. I believe it is at 2.5"in front and rear you need to add. You will have to do some trimming of the rear tub in the wheel well openings also. I would love to run them but shipped for the front and rear will run you almost 2k.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.

Yea that will work and you'll still be able to disco and flex no problem. Like JD stated, bumstops will help so you do trash the tires or the flares.

I'm assumming your running D30/D35 axles... they typically do not work well with 35's. Some have ran them, put they also carry spare parts and shafts.

If you do go 35's yoou'll definately need to regear.
