middle under the hood jeep catch

I took my Jeep to get an oil change and the guys over there jacked up the middle catch underneath the front hood of the jeep. It's bent beyond repair. What is this part actually called and where do I find one? I've been searching the internet for a while and haven't been able to find anything besides the outer hood latches on the sides. Please help! Thanks!

Agreed, in fact don't let them fix it tell the manager you want them to pay you to have it fixed. Since they could not change your oil without breaking it why would you let them touch your jeep again.

Find a local wrecking yard or pull a part...

if they can fawk it up this bad with a simple oil change I wouldn't let them touch another damn thing on it.

Having done my own maintenance for over 40 years I would never let one of those places touch any of my vehicles. In fact when my youngest went cross country after finishing college I had him get the oil and filter changed before heading back across the US. When he got home and I went to change the oil the drain plug was so tight I thought I was going to strip it to get it loose and the oil filter was so tight I had to fight it off. Do they even train the people on how to service a vehicle or are they just desperate for bodies to work for minimum wage.
