I know hte Humvee Tires have strong sidewalls so when you air down, you cant really get the grip youd want

The tires on my hmmwv suck. They do have strong sidewalls though, but when they have no air in them, they do flex a bit. They're also expensive as hell, and if you do find a set, don't get a set that's more than 1 year old. The tires on my HMMWV are only 2 years old and very dry rotted. I believe they're Michelin's, but I can't remember. PLS's use Michelins.

There was this guy selling humvee tires, 37" by Firestone? for $75 each on the pirate 4x4 forum. He buys big bulk packages from the military and sells them to the public. Try looking him up on pirate4x4 if you want some.

If you're talking the old school military look tires that they used to run on CJs, well, they suck. Tires have come a long way.

My dad ran them on the family CJ - it was entirely stock, and he liked it that way. But they weren't good tires. We've swapped for more modern tires now.

Here are some. But you'd have to really want that look. They'll be miserable on and off road.

Also note that Humvee tires are made for 16.5" wheels, so that means new wheels are in order. Not that great of a deal when you think about it.....try pricing 16.5" wheels if you don't know what I mean.
