Very nice. I have been thinking about doing this for quite some time. Where did you acquire the mirrors and did you buy them with the peice that bolts to the door or did you use the existing.
The mirrors on my 97 are chipped and nasty looking. Plus, with either top on, any time I shut the damned door the mirror shifts! Enough to drive a guy insane!
Looking good.

that's exactly why I swapped em. I got em from Quadratec both mirrors for $80.00.. All you do is take the existing mirrors off and put the new ones in their spot.. Comes with the bolts you need.. Took me 10 minutes and a hex screw driver

You over paid for those if you paid 80, but its worth it either way. I just got some on ebay, perfect quality, over a year later, and got them for around 50 shipped to my front door. They help a ton and I highly recommend them too! Looking good OP!

Do the vibrate any? I bought some cheap($50) ones and they are worthless, they vibrate so bad I can't see out of them...

I did the same thing, got them off craigslist for 20.00. Now I have mirrors that I don't have to reset all the time.

I cant remember if the new mirrors had some shitty plastic backing so they Dont vibrate against the metal, or if the stock ones had the plastic backing. Either way one of the sets had the rubber backing and that made the vibration go away.

Thanks I'll have to check, I don't remember if I put the rubber seal back behind them or not..? I keep everything, I actually have the mirrors still in a box in the garage.
