Mirror whistle

I can't be the only one with this problem. I have tried various mirror brackets to use on my 06 Rubicon for use with my soft doors. The ones I like look like the kind from the Cj's. I have them on but they whistle. I called the place I got them from and they have had no complaints. They gave me the phone number to the MFG who makes them, and they have never had any complaints. I like the retro look, just not the loud whistle that comes from them. Any one else had this problem? If you have, what did you do to fix it, out side of buying louder tires or turning up the radio. Thanks in advance!

That's not a noise...just your jeep talking to you....it really is a normal sound for that style of mirror.

Now all you need to do, is drill out a few holes in the arm, and you will be able to change notes. Become one, with your Jeep.

I did drill out some holes, but I had too many mice following me where ever I went.

Me too

Yeah, i just bought some RuggedRidge 44800/01 side mirrors and installed them. I love the looks, but the drivers side mirror whistles anytime its above 35mph. Funny, the passengers side doesn't whistle at all. I'v spent all day readjusting (which is a tolerable pain in the butt) as it stands now, I either have to get real lucky in my adjustments or add some fins or something to disrupt the airflow... but then I'd look really ridiculous....
