Went last year and loved it. Rented a JK Rubicon and hit some trails. Atlanta to Moab, 25hrs and 1732 miles. Too far away IMHO. Need to relocate west.

864 miles. What is the best time of the year to do the trails there?

I'm about 6 hours away... went in may last year and it was perfect. This year I'm going for Easter Jeep Safari in April. I would say go sometime between late March and early June or September and October to avoid the crazy summer heat.

It truly is one of the best places in the US to wheel; trails of all difficulties everywhere and plenty of great scenery to boot!

Hopefully next year...wife has one more year to work. I've really been wanting to get to Moab.

315 miles and I do that drive usually half a dozen times a year. It is crazy hot in July and August, but that is what A/C is for.

3 hrs, 15 minutes with a stop for gas on the way. I typically make it down there 2-3 times a year. Headed down in 2 and a half weeks, and then again for the Easter safari.

Going to Moab for the first time this year. Taking the scenic route, about 1140 miles. That's 2 days driving with a few stops.

5 1/2 hours away for me. First time was in 1993, been 15 times since then for mountain biking.

Bought a 97 wrangler 2 years ago so hope to go next time with that. Will be passing by Moab in about 2 weeks on our way to Zion national park.

I sure love the UT desert!
