Mobile 1 filter?

Anyone know if the Mobil 1 M1-301 is good to go for the Wrangler 4.0?

It appears the Mobil 1 M1-301 cross references to the Fram PH8A or TG8A which also cross freference to the Ford FL-1A. You are probably talking a 5" long filter versus a 3.5+/-" long filter.

If so, you should be fine. I have used the Fram TG8A and Ford FL-1A on my Jeep as well as the 5" long Mopar equivalent. All of them worked well, no problems. They hold about a quarter to a third of a quart more oil.
