molle overhead console

Jcwhitney has one that goes from windshield to roll bar and comes with 6 pouches. I have a bunch of molle stuff already. I was wondering if anyone has this. I'm 6' and I'm wondering if it would hang in my way and how strong it really is. My kids got to the size of digging thru the back playing with my tools and stuff I'd rather secure it in easy to reach for me. Plus if the zombie apocalypse comes I can switch out to pistol and mag holders lol

If you're talking about the one from Smittybilt, I have it on mine. It was pretty easy to install. I do have to say that for me they hang a little low. I need to find a way to get the bags to sit higher and not obstruct my mirror. I have brushed against the bags and few times and I'm 5'9". But its a great place to store things. I also have the one on my tailgate. Search for Smittybilt in the forums and you will find my writeup.

Yea I looked at your post you seem to have those pouches stuffed too. I'd mainly have a sunglasses holder map pocket notepad holder or whatnot maybe a m14 mag holder (fits the kids juicebox) I like the one that's a seat cover for the rear as well but for that price I could just use one of my vests across the back. Is the overhead strong? Like high wind or a kid hanging on it

Very sturdy. It's a thick piece of metal that ties directly into your windshield and above the sound bar. Doesn't move after installed.

I actually don't have much in the pouches. I have my mag light in one pouch, paperwork in another, one holds my gps. They are pretty thick pouches, and can hang down pretty far even when empty. I can still see out the back but it's pretty limited.

I have one too. I love it's great for storage and I am 5'10 no problem seeing out my mirror but it did take a couple of times moving my pouches into certain positions to make it were I can see. I think if u put your smaller pouches towards your window and larger ones toward the back helps.
