Lots of people don't like metal, because they collect engine heat and actually don't give your engine cold air. Just do a Google search on metal intakes vs plastic if you want, but im sure either will help the 4banger!

Might as well head to the junkyard and get a throttle body off a 4.0 TJ and replace your stock one too, it'll even give you a little more pep to go with that shiny new intake.
