Motor Mount Lift Question

Trying to get all my ducks in a row before I order parts and such, is there anything else that you is needed for a motor mount lift other than the correct mounts and brackets if needed? Also do you have to modify the radiator fan shroud and all because of the extra height or the fan? Thanks in advance

If you're only doing a motor mount lift then you will have to move the holes down on the fan shroud. Usually the motor mount lift is done with a body lift, in that case you dont have to mess with the fan shroud at all. I got a kit from rough country for a 1.25" body lift and a 1" motor mount lift for about $150 and everything works fine together with no modifications.

Depending which MML you go for, if you need to remove the 'through' bolt on the stock mount, be aware you will need an 18mm wrench/socket.
Just like to let people know because it's an unusual size and most sets do not have it.

Thank you for the heads up, the Jeep is my only "American" vehicle. Everything else that I have is German, I have all those odd sizes, motor mounts on my VW are 16mm try finding that in a set.

I have done the JKS 1.25" BL with M.O.R.E. 1" MML brackets on my last two rigs and they work perfect. I am more a fan of purchasing the complete 1" MML brackets over the JKS spacer version because it is easier and also replaces your bushings since odds are they are shot.
