motor mounts

Im looking to buying new motor mounts due to diagnosed noises and vibrations. I have a 4in rugged ridge lift, 33in tires, and a slip yoke eliminator. Which type of mounts do I need? What material is best? Also, explain the mounts that have lifts, do I need these? Thanks

What makes you think the vibes are caused by motor mounts unless they are aftermarket polyurethane mounts?

Whatever mounts you go with, go with rubber and NOT polyurethane which passes vibrations far more readily than rubber does. A motor mount with a 1" lift is only needed to help get rid of vibes when there is no SYE kit and CV driveshaft installed so you don't need taller motor mounts. And despite what polyurethane manufacturers would have us all believe, good quality rubber motor mounts will outlast the majority of our vehicles. Even the best/most expensive vehicles in the world continue to use rubber motor (and body) mounts.

M.O.R.E. Bombproof rubber engine mounts are excellent as are Brown Dog but from I can tell, vibes are less likely with M.O.R.E.''s like I had in my last TJ. They are massive and do appear to be "bombproof".

I have brown dog 1". You want rubber for the material. Not sure what year or motor you have. But cant go wrong with brown dog or m.o.r.e.
