Motor mounts

I was considering changing my motor mounts on my 4.0 and was thinking about going with the urethane mounts because of the claims that they help with the torqueing and twisting of the inline 6.Anybody have a thought or feedback on them

Why would you want your vibrating engine to transfer more vibrations to you and your passengers? This isn't drag racing we're talking about. Stick with the OEM torsion rubber mounts.

If you have the $ I would look into the M.O.R.E 1" Bombproof MML brackets if you plan on doing a BL nytime soon. Great constuction plus it helps heep all the drive line at a happy angle. If you do a 1" BL with the 1" MML it makes everything much easier to install and odds are you wont have to deal with a Tcase drop kit if you put on a basic lift.

You could try these...M.O.R.E. Bomb Proof Torsion Rubber Motor Mounts. They run about $140 but are the best replacements to go with.

I had Brown Dog motor mounts with poly bushings and didn't think the vibration was that bad... until I swapped in a set of their rubber bushings. Sooooo much better. I definitely recomend heavy duty mounts, but spring for the rubber bushings.

i've got a Currie poly MML. The vibes are more noticable than stock, but not by much. They do significantly reduce the engine movement within the engine bay. I like them. You'll get WAY more vibes from an engine skid that mounts to the underside of the motor mounts.
