The Bushwacker flat flares are far from cheap.

I've been hearing good things about it although I can't share to you any first hand experience since I haven't got any of that. Yes it's cheap but not its quality. I've visited some on-line shop and found out about this bushwacker fender flares' price and other types.

Don't you have to do some serious modding for flat fenders?

I have the bushwacker flat flares and I like them, they're easy to put on and look really good.

No i kept my inner fenders. you just have to cut your stock outer fenders off.
if you buy them pre welded its a little more but you just bolt them into the stock location. cut off wheel and a sawzall and some steady hands

While they don't look nearly as pretty now as then, they are a lot more rugged and break resistant than Bushwacker's very brittle and easily broken Pocket earier model flares are.

The rocks have managed to peel off 3 of my four flares a few times but they never actually broke or tore. Reinstalling them with backing washers under the screw heads that pulled through and use of the heat gun to take the creases and bends out makes them look pretty good again.

But if you're not in the habit of dragging the side of your Jeep against the rocks as I so thoroughly enjoy doing, they should actually hold up very well.
