Muffler/Exhaust System

I own a 1999 TJ Sport 6 Banger...and I was just wondering the $$ amount to either replace just my muffler/and or exhaust system. It's getting quite a bit louder which I do not like, unless it's supposed to be. What exhaust systems would everyone recommend. I don't need/want high end, but I would like middle of the road. I wouldn't mind a nice "Growl."" Anyhoo...Thanks for you input in advance...

Matt

I went with FLO PRO V Force muffler..sounds nice! Try googling exhaust for 4.0 and should give you different threads to listen too. I did V force and got a few. even search on here there is a few threads to listen to. I only paid 240 for muffler and tailpipe installed.

Oh it rocks! Told the shop wanted a little rumble nothing major and got it. If your in the house you can hear me pull up now! Sounds great at idle, think it sounds a little tinny in throttle but wife and kids think it sounds great.

Just put a Banks Monster on my buddy's 06 Rubicon after listening to a dozen or so sound files on You Tube....

WOW!!! Love the sound and the gains were felt as well.

The Cat-Back Monster Exhaust I found on Amazon was $273 shipped!!!! Stainless too!

I'm sold on the Banks Monster.... it's on my list... the VERY LONG LIST of things to do...
