I hope someone can help me on this. I have a 1997 wrangler 4cyl. durring the summer months (>80 degrees) it will stall out... Just the same as if I ran out of gas. There is no rhyme or reason as to when it just does. Also it can take anywhere from 5-45min to get it restarted. I hasn't stalled all winter but I know it is getting ready to start doing it again because if I drive to the store and do a quick run in and back out it has a bad hesitation once I start it up again... Anyone with good advice?
hmmmm...when my stalled, it was completely out of my league to find it, and my mechanic had a tough time finding it also. Mine used to stall at a stop because the flywheel crank was cracked and the crank sensor wasn't reading it correctly.
