Getting close to putting it back together.

• What would be a good solvent to wipe down the mating surfaces?
• How can you tell if you need to replace your chain?

I had to order nutserts and bolts for the skid plate. They should be in today so I'll be able to get it back together here soon.

I'd replace that rear output seal with National seal # 3946 from O'Riellys or another auto parts store... Idk how to do links from my phone, but I had a thread called "rugged ridge sye" that will show you why.

It lives! A buddy and I spent ~12 hours buttoning it back up and some other fixes.

Considering I still have to install the adjustable control arms and track bars...

Are we talking to date or just to do the SYE?

The only thing I need to buy was the SYE and the new rear drive shaft. So the actual cost for this was around ~$750, but I also bought a front drive shaft, adjustable control arms and track bars (I still need to put the arms/bars on).

which driveshaft and sye did you use? Seems high. I paid $500 shipped. Plus $5 for new straps and bolts
