my first tj

I have a 89 cherokee that i am customizing, but how i ended up here is another story. My girlfriend wants a wrangler. I found one: 97, 4 cyl, 5 speed, 153 k miles. comes with 4.5 rubicon lift springs (not installed), new radiator, thermostat, and battery. asking 4200 or best offer.

i know my xj and the 4.0, but what do i look for in the wrangler to be a good deal? i know the basics (fuel pump sounds, rear end noises) but on a four cyl, im not sure under the hood besides water in the oil ect.

any advice will help because im going to look at it soon.

thanks in advance

The price is differnt state to state . I'm selling my 2000 I4 with 109k miles for $4500 just to give you a idea on price..

The frame is the biggest thing to me everything else can be fixed .
One thing with the lift thats comes with it you'll have some good money into making it work right .
