^ Not sure where you see the Sahara emblem. I do on the other hand see the Sport 4.0 emblem.

Wranglerfan: Good luck with the new ride, it looks like a nice one. Just get ready to empty every pocket thought, you are always going to want to add something to it.

Keep waving!

burton160w,

What are the 2 chrome pieces on your hood above the headlights?

Thanks for all of the nice comments!!! I have been looking for every excuse possible to drive it the last couple of days and I love all of the waves that I get from other Wrangler owners. It makes me feel like I am part of an elite group or something!

Those would be his hood pins...he posted about his Jeep in another thread.

Welcome to the forum Wranglerfan!
they're hood locks that were there when I bought it. Both are rusted out and missing any sort of lock underneath. I'm going to buy new ones and paint them black then install just to cover the holes. don't do this to your jeep

The best part is when you have a non-jeep passenger in the car and they just don't get why your waving to everyone. It's like....

Hahaha...I remember when my friend got his Jeep and I was the non-Jeep passenger. I'm like, "Why the f'k do you keep waving to everyone...you look like an idiot!" and he replied, "It's a Jeep thing...you wouldn't understand."

Bastard...I later would too come to understand!
