my Homemade rear bumper

I looked for the homemade bumper thread but couldnt find it
Needs a lil more prep work and it will be rhinolined.I will add more flatbar to the ends and cap with welds to round it off

the reciver hitch is from a standard store bought towing package from my 04 frontier
2x4" rectangle tube
1/2" pulling eyes that bolt directly to the frame siderails and welded to bumper.I think its overkill but i like steel.
weighs about 40lbs,the tube is 1/4" thick

Looks like a bumper that would cause someone that hit you to have some problems with their car lol

well It was free material,All I had to do was cut and weld.

I would have loved to bought a bumper instead.I hope no one hits me.I ride on my wooded property alot and if I had that bumper the trees wouldnt have dented in my corners

Looks nice. I'm trying to decide if I am gona weld one up or keep my stock cut down stubby. It'll save about 30 pounds if I don't.
