I had been having troubles starting my jeep I would go to start it and it would crank over 30-40 seconds before it would start. Someone told me to check the crank sensor so I replaced it and it still has the same problem. Where can I go from here? ?
before you start it do you hear the fuel pump kick on. sounds like it might be losing prime in the fuel rails. next time when you go to start it turn the key to ON for about 15 secs then start it and see what it dose. (my old XJ would do that a lot just learned to re prime the system to get it fired
Lot's of threads covering this subject out on the forum, start with replacing the fuel pressure regulator. It is located on top of the fuel pump. You will need to drop the fuel tank unless you have a body lift.
