My Little Sunday Project

So i took the chrome headlight bezels off last night and sanded them down. Started with a coarse grade then went to a fine grade. Then threw a coat of primer on them. This morning i laid my first semi-gloss coat down let it dry while i went to the gym then put another coat on. After the second coat was dry i did a clear coat over the top, let it dry, then another clear coat. Let them dry all day while i was at the skatepark and put them on just a few hours ago. I live them lol. I probably went overboard on the prep work, but as my old man always told me painting is easy, the preparation is where it really counts. I figured since they are on the front and will constantly take abuse ( rain, dirt, road grime/garbage, and debree) i may as well go all out. Let me know what you guys think!

looks good! haha I was painting today too, but I prolly rushed the painting. an hour taping stuff off then 30 minutes to primer and black coat :P haha. I also did my bezels before. just sprayed black, probably should have primered and clearcoated. you sound like you did a good job. Im going to bedline mine in a week or so. goodjob!

I primered and clear coated mine as well. I didn't on my last jeep and they didn't look as well.

Mine look bad too but if I paint them the line will just rub it off.
