My New 99 TJ

I just brought home my new '99 TJ last night. I looked around and found this one not far from my house. It's in pretty good shape considering the 159k miles on the 4.0. Had many new components - steering, shocks, springs, trailer hitch etc. Also has a brand new soft top. There's a little bit of rust that I'll have to work on - nothing urgent. The engine seems solid with only a slight weeping at the head cover.

This is a winter car for me - April - Nov I'm on the motorcycle. My office is just a few miles away from home so I think this will do just fine.

Already ordered some new parts - this is going to be as bad as the bike!!!!

Here's a pic

Welcome!

And i'm completely with you about it bein as bad as the bike...I also have a 99 TJ (but only has the 2.5L)

My bike is now in a "completed" state (minus a few small addons such as grips and a new dynotune) but now that i've got the jeep (got it a few weeks ago) its gonna be just as bad....

Side note...ia dave, where you from??? I'm in West Des Moines

Nice Looking TJ! Love my bikes too, think bikes and jeeps go together well.

Just so you know, say good-by to any extra cash you have, because your new toy is insatiable when it comes to mods and upgrades. They call it JEEP (Just Empty Every Pocket) for a reason
