My new ride!

So after about 2 months of continuous searching, and lurking on the site to learn as much as possible, I finally found the right jeep for me! After only having it for about a week, I'm already hooked.

Specs,
2004 Wrangler X
48000 miles
1" body lift (will be gone as soon as I get a susp lift)
31" Peerless Widetrack baja at's
I'll get a better list when I have more time, really just want input from all you guys. Let me know what you think.

Accidentally hit enter and it posted before I attached pics, see below for pics...

to be honest, I'm not quite sure... As soon as you asked that I went out and looked, but couldn't find where it said the brand name. Is there a specific spot where i would find that?

Welcome to the club. It certainly is addicting. I never owned a Jeep until last year. Now I have two of them!!

Looks good. I don't see anything wrong with a 1" body lift. Why take it off?

Mostly because of all the negative stuff I have heard about them... It does give it a little more clearance which for now is good cause It will be a bit before I will be able to afford a suspension lift.

Bobjenkins - No soft top just yet, soon though. One of the first things I did was take the doors off, and that is one of the coolest feelings in the world driving down the road...

Thanks for all the welcomes. I'm glad the search is finally over and I have one. seemed like it took forever. Now I just need some 4wheel buddies in the colorado springs area

Up to about a 1" body lift is ok on a jeep. Once you start going above that you may start running into issues. You will also find that many different modifications highly recommend at least a 1" body lift...such as tummy tucks, some skid plates, some bumpers, etc. But to each is their own Congrats on the new jeep

Thanks Bud . Monument is about 2 hours or so from Vail. its almost smack dab in the middle of colorado springs and denver. Its right next to a mountain called mt herman which has some fun trails that I'm itching to get on as soon as I get back from ohio.
