Question my plan

So I have a great idea to get my parents to let me lift the jeep (I'm planning WAY ahead so I can start saving :P)
Once my stock shocks go bad I'd like to get the Rancho 9000XL's (to provide a better ride for my mom, who LOVES the jeep ). And since Rancho offers a 2.5" lift I think I might get that too. (perfect time to lift right?)

Anyways, Has anyone used the Rancho 2.5" lift? What are your thoughts/opinions on it?
What all do you need to do the Rancho 9000XL MyRide controller?
Thanks!
