$400 for a break job is a lil steep as well hope that includes pads rotors drums shoes and a complete system flush w a $100 mail in rebate

I'm going to take two guesses here . . . you either work at the dealership or you refer to most of the parts of your Jeep as "thingies" or "that shiny thing"

$400 for a water pump? Jeebus man. The last time I did one it was like $40, and it took me an hour in the driveway.

I just did my water pump the other day before heading out on a trip. We went to leave and heard a noise, the water pump bearing was going and I had promised the wife we would take the Jeep. 1 Hour and 45 bucks later including antifreeze and silicone yielded me a brand new (not rebuilt) lifetime warranty pump. I could have done it faster but I had to stop and eat hahaha!

Here is the results:

I kinda liked it when "Silver" had her bumper to bumper warranty. I'd take her in argue with the dealership (from Pres. down to flunky) get nothing accomplished, but an ulcer or headache and walk out. Ahhh! those were the days... Hahahahaha....

I do pretty much everything to my girl right here in the garage and am happy to have the skill to do so.

Thanks for sharing this. That looks like a great site with good info. I will have to get that.
