I sold my frame mounted 2" receiver hitch for my 04 for $50.00 on Craigslist a couple years ago.

They are out there often when people upgrade their bumpers, but that doesn't help your ASAP request.

I bought it from U-Haul back in 2007. It was around $110.00 installed with trailer wiring IIRC.

Depends on your definition of cheap...

I just purchased a round-tube Reese Class III for $116 shipped.. Bolted right on and no worries about a hitch failing becuae it did not fit right or was rusty etc..

Amazon.com: Reese Towpower 51145 Pro Series Class III Hitch with 2" Round Tube Receiver: Automotive

Silly question, does this actually replace your bumper or go under it?

I got this one on Amazon for $108 and free shipping.

Amazon.com: Curt Manufacturing 13408 Class III Receiver: Automotive

Looks like the price went up to $110.

Hi Mke,

Here's some pics I just took for you..
I like the round tube better than square because I feel the round is torsionally stronger than square (think driveshafts)..

It took me no more than 20 minutes to install.

The few dollars more seemed worth it to get the round tube and better quality hardware (read the reviews)..

Here's the U-Haul hitch receiver I used to have on my Jeep. It was a Reese or a Curt or something like that. It had square tube.
