Check Craigslist and ebay and the for sale sections here for a used top and frame.
I can't help with the running issue, how long since the last tune up?

I miss Biloxi/Gulfport every time I see someone from the area....

Yep Craigs list for a used one, or spring for a new one from Quadratec or such.

And it might just be time for a good FULL tune up, and clean the injectors/throttle body/IAC.

First of all, thank you for your service. I had a similar problem that got worse when it rained. A new coil and pickup coil in distributor made it run perfectly. Good luck with the top. Watch your local Craigslist...rain suits are cheaper!

Hey just a suggestion---not knowing situation - family kids or not-but since you are down there could just add a duster/deck cover and wrap-around jammer. This will make it look somewhat like a little "truck" but if you pull carpet and drain plugs should be fine. With the duster the back seat becomes pretty much worthless. Think you could probably do it for $200-$250? Idk haven't priced those in a while-since Igot mine a few years ago. I run that set-up from March till Nov in IN.

One caution big difference between wrap around and standard jammer---IMO standard jammer is for the desert.

Check the N.O. area as well as FL. Tons of Jeeps in your area, which means..... tons of goodies out there in someone's garage not being used.

Since only have a bikini backseat usage is iffy already. You COULD fold seat down and run duster---and if weather is right, and backseat is needed takes like a minute to remove deck cover.

Remember when I was in service--trying to stretch paydays and still save money for things. IT WAS TOUGH!

Thanks to you!!
