I say plasti-dip first to make sure you like it.

I did plasti-dip about a month ago. I like the look, but in areas where I rubbed it with anything other than a feather duster it is peeling.

Next time I will go for some flat black paint under the plasti-dip, or just use flat black paint.

Go figure.....you'd make everything OEM if you could!

My grill was peppered with rock pits and dings. I sprayed mine with rattle can rustoleum bedliner and it turned out great. It doesn't have a lot of texture which makes it easier to clean. If it gets beat up a little, easy to spray it again.

My Jeep is black so I hope it matches the bedliner close enough for Unlimited04, although the bedliner is flat and my paint is gloss. Still looks good.

The grill has one of those UGLY chrome pieces over the front of it. I pulled it off and all the dust and sand that had been trapped behind it has scratched the crap outta the grill. It's got a lot of rock chips in it as well. I know I'll like the black grill on the yellow jeep so I think I'm gonna go with the paint an not the plasti-dip. Thanks y'all

I'd go with the rusto, easy to apply and easier to reapply if necessary.

Take the ugly chrome and sand the ever lovin crap out of it and paint it then put it back on. Then you can use a permanent paint instead of plastidip.
