Need an opinion on tops and tires.

Hey I just bought some 31x10.5 tires and wheels with 4.00 backspacing (Black Rock 916). They stick out just a little more than I would like but was afraid of the tire rubbing. Now that I'm apart of this great community (lurked for some time) and have read more on the backspacing issue I believe I can get away with 4.75 backspacing. I do understand that if I wanted wider tires later I would want my 4.00 backspace back. Anybody rub with 31's with 4.75 backspacing?
Also what do people think of the softopper? I have a soft top without windows and I think I'm missing hardware.
Sorry I don’t have a pic for everybody but I have a 97 Sahara. Getting ready to install a 1.75 front and .75 rear coil lift. She is a little nose heavy. Anybody wheel in Western MA?

with the 4.75 backspaceing you will rub when makeing sharp turns.i ran that combo for years and just lived with it , that said i just swaped out my springs for a takeoff set my buddy had and itt lifted the back 1" and the front almost 2" it was simple and it rides 100% better now.

No rub.

Thanks for the reply. I went for the 4.75 backspacing with my 31x10.5 because I did not want to purchase flares if it stuck out to far. I anticipated adding a washer to the turning stops if it rubbed. To my surprise it does not. No lift yet but I have coil spacers at the house. Front 1.75 rear .75
