Need extra key

Hello guys.I have only one sentry(chip) key for my 04 tj.I need two programmed keys to be able to program any others.First of all,if I had two keys i woulnt need a third one.Has anyone ran into this problem? Is there any solution besides going to the dealer and get nailed?
Thanks ahead of time for your replies.

When I did my Expedition it also said I needed two keys. However when I bought the new keys and new remotes (go to Ebay and get them wayyyy cheaper) I only needed one key to program all of them. I couldn't figure out why they said I needed two keys because when you program them you use ONE key to start the program then need to insert a key or click the remote and waa laaa they were all done. I don't have chip keys in my TJ so I got extra keys all over. Good luck I hope that helps a little.

I may not be as good for as many times as I once was, but, I'm as good once as I ever was ! ! !

I drove my company 05 TJ the other day with my '00 Grand Cherokee key. Just pulled the wrong set of keys out of my pocket and never noticed.

Something tells me the security stuff is not as fantastic as the marketing guys want you to believe.

Call around to local locksmiths some of them can cut and program keys for cheaper than a dealer might.

that just scares the crap out of me!
06 Rubi with some sort of double ended, chrome knobbed, cross threaded, infinitely adjustable, frequently breakable, worn out flammywhammers zip tied onto it.
It used to be a jeep thing... til that sh!t broke!

I might just try getting a blank from ebay and trying to program it using one key.If it doesnt work, you guys think the system may reset and loose the original key as well?
