Need help

I just received my new 03-06 roll bar covers for my 99 wrangler. I also ordered the thicker padding from summit racing. From the looks of it with my hard top on, it doesn't look like there's too much room to play with regarding space from the roll bar to the hard top. If anyone has ever had any experience doing this a comment would be great. Thanks!

If you insist. The space limitations might be the reason yours came with less padding. Good luck.

the bars on 03-06's are 3" diameter. the bars on the 97-02's are 2". visually, the padding looks thicker because the bars are thicker. The padding should be the same. I wanted to do the same thing with my 01, because I just liked the looks of the thicker padding. I was very sad to see the info that I just repeated.

you could put the padding on, but it will move like an empty toilet paper roll still on the holder.
