need help

ive found a dana44 out of a 2008 rubicon. just need to know if it will bolt directly up to my 99 tj sport. im want to upgrade from d35 so I can run 35's. any advise would be greatly appreciated.

No, a JK axle will not bolt into a TJ. They are 5" wider, with different locations for control arms and springs. If you found a pair of front and rear axles, and bought and installed two weld-on bracket kits for a TJ, then you would have a minor strength upgrade and 5" wider track for a lot of money. Keep looking for a different axle. The Ford 8.8's are readily available and cheap, but you still will need that bracket kit weleded on.

ok I had been looking for 9.9 but saw d44 on craigslist. im just going with a 9.9 build. thanks
