NEED HELP...Jeep not starting :/

So for some background understanding first. I just swapped the transmission out and once I put everything back together it won't start now. Before for about a year it was having a problem where it would stall and stutter really bad, but every time this happened I would put cleaner in it and it would go away for a while. I replaced the fuel pump the other day I had figured it was the problem, WRONG it still won't start. If I put a little gas into the carb it'll start for momentarily until the gas burns off. I checked to see if I could here the fuel pump running with the ignition turned over just not started, and I can't hear it running. I've been told I should hear it running but i don't, I've checked all the wires over and over again, they are all plugged in. I need some help, and quick. Does anyone have any clue what may be wrong? By the way I had been told it may be the CKP; I switched out the CKP from the original transmission, and it won't do anything still. The pump doesn't seem to engage, i'm so at a lost and need some major help if anyone has any suggestions

You should check the voltage to your fuel pump relay and fuel pump. Doesn't sound like you are getting any 12V.
