As many of you know, my daughter was in a horrible accident with her 2002 Wrangler Sport. I am now on the hunt for another one. There is the Rubicon, Unlimited, Sport and X. I have been searching nationwide and have had leads on a few different models. I am looking at an 2004 Unlimited right now, has a new Rampage Top, 4" Suspension lift, one owner vehicle. I test drove it, no rattles, leaks and has new brakes. It does however need new tires from wear only, no chatter. Has right at 80,000 miles on it. Please let me know what you guys think as far as the different Jeeps that would be right for her, keep in mind it has to be an auto. I would prefer a manual for myself but she doesn't know how to drive a manual and she prefers an auto trans. Thanks....Chris

I am a teenager myself and I know a few friends with jeeps that really push its limits on the road if you know what I mean. I don't know your daughter, but I know for many of my friends that a 4" lift would be unsafe. I have a 3.5" lift and have never had a problem. The jeep itself sounds good! Unlimited models are nice with the extra room and longer wheelbase. If the 4" lift is good for her, I would go for it :) is the price reasonable?

I put a 4" lift on hers after she got used to her Sport and she had no problems at all, drove it from New Orleans to Galveston and ran it on the beach and had a blast. I can get this Unlimited for 11,000 and that includes the Rampage top and a Hard top that had been in a plastic rap since the vehicle was bought new. The price is mainly because he is a friend of a friend, what do you think?
