Need new control arm bushings, replace bushings or whole arm?

After bringing my new Jeep home and noticing the front end wobbling when hitting bumps in the road and after checking out the front suspension parts I noticed the control arm bushings are worn along with the track bar. My question in do I just replace the bushings for the control arms or do I replace the entire arm? I have a shop press and ball joint press with a lot of different adapters so I have lots of tools at my disposal. This is not a daily driver so down time is not an issue, although with the summer weather I want as much drive time as I can get in.

Is a stock track bar a decent replacement or is there a better aftermarket replacement choice? I see some that are adjustable but it looks as if my lift just had an extra hole and the stock arm was used.

I have 32 11.50 tires and have zero plans to put anything bigger on.

Any feed back would be great!

Jeff

Did you use stock type bushings or fancy aftermarket ones?

Save your money and get a savvy track bar with johnny joints. They're indestructible. Also for CA's save up and put some johnny joints on, they'll be way worth it especially being a trail rig.

I had my stock track bar drilled over to fit for my 4" lift too and I just put a jks adjustable track bar on and it took care of death wobble I definitely recommend upgrading your track bar and its a fairly easy project

I have experienced the same situation and will be replacing my stock CA bushings and track bar bushing with poly. I searched high and low for a good article to walk my through removing the stock rubber bushing material from the metal shell and found this:

Death Wobble Cure - Installing Control Arm Bushings

I will let you know how it goes.
