Need new OEM seat covers

I want new covers for my 98 wrangler front and rear. I dont want the type that cover the old seat covers but replace them back like they were OEM. All I can find are cheap slip overs that fit loose. Any idea where I can find a replacement cover set? The local shop wants to sew new ones for 1200.00 WTF?????? I hate Neoprene and just want a good set that fit tight like OEM.

Do a search on Iggee seat covers. They slip on over the OEM but fit tigh and look great. A lot of people really like them.

Those are good looking covers. I have a basic green TJ and would like to find a set of Realtree-type camo seat covers that don't fit like a grocery sack. Any suggestions?

Katzkin seats covers replace original fabric, but they are NOT cheap. I put them in my Avalanche and would LOVE to do a vinyl version for the TJ... but for the money, I could just about put in new seats.

Wet Okole fit pretty well but neoprene covers soak up moisture. Also they fade bad in the sun.

Just giving an option.

My neoprene seats never absorbed water, though they did fade.

My neoprene wet suits never absorbed water either, but water gets under them through the seals around my neck, wrists, and feet. If your neoprene seat covers are absorbing water, it is likely through the seams. Neoprene itself won't absorb water, it's a closed cell material.

That is, unless the seat cover makers are not using a closed-cell version of it or there is a fabric over the neoprene that is absorbing water... *shrug*

If you consider that a great fit, what do you call how the OEM covers fit?

I am thinking of doing the same thing.

My seats are destroyed from mud/spills/etc...

I was originally going to buy new seats but can't see spending upwards of $700 for all 3 new seats.

I found OEM seat covers on ebay that were taken off a Jeep that was getting leather installed. $200 for all three seats.

IMHO that is the way to go.

I have beat the net up with vendors and covers. All results yeild poor fit and finish IMO. I know its a Jeep and will be getting dirty, wet ect.. But I wont deal with slip over covers. I looked at Smittybilt replacements but their rear seat cover is crap neoprene. Ive decided to replace the fronts with Mastercraft Baja RS and use their rear seat.

Trek Armor or IGEE?

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but curious for some weigh-in? Does anyone out there in AZ have the IGEE's? I roll top-down/doors off 365 and with 115 degrees, I'm concerned about burning my arse in summertime. This is the ONLY good thing bout my neoprene.

I've also looked at Trek Armor, but can't seem to find many TJ guys with it, only JK. I'm curious what TJ guys think of the fit on OEM seats.
