Need New Shocks? what kind? nitro or oil help!

I have a 99tj with 4inch shortarm lift and 3inch body with 35inch tires need new shocks thinking about trying the new skyjackers new M95 got a good deal right now its a nitro shock tho is that bad thing

I have heard nitros are a rougher ride, with the hydros being more forgiving

But I dont have first hand knowledge on it

Skyjacker's nitrogen-charged shock is pretty widely accepted as giving way too stiff of a ride for a vehicle with the weight of a Wrangler. If you're willing spend the extra $$$ for nitrogen-charged shocks, it's real hard to beat the OME (Old Man Emu) Nitrocharger.

Rancho 8000? What is that? Hopefully you mean the 9000 and not the 5000.
