Need opinions on future suspension lift plans.

So I've been looking into lift kits specially the Zone 4.25 lift kit, and with the 3" suspension I know 33 tires fit on easily. So two questions

1. I heard the control arms are bad on it so I'd buy better ones if that's the case. Any knowledge on this?

2. My plans are to eventually move up to 35 tires, would it be a waste in your eyes to buy this kit, only to buy another one later instead of just waiting for the better, bigger kit?

Thanks guys.

My opinion is to run stock control arms or run really good ones with Johnny Joints. Many $500-$800 4" spring "kits" come with pretty crappy control arms and the bushings don't seem to last more than a few years.

The 4.25" Combo kit uses the stock control arms (since it has 3" springs.)

If you are shooting for 35's...I would plan for 4" springs, 1" Body lift, Adjustable Control arms with JJ's, SYE/CV, stronger steering components, and better brakes, D44/8.8 Rearend, and chromo shafts for the front D30.

Thanks for the reply, here's another question, for most everyday (average, most likely) offroading would I get by with 33s and the zone kit? Right now I live in Illinois with about zero places to go without driving far and these would be future plans, I am going down south to Peoria for college most likely. Thanks

I would not recommend the zone lift. Look into the rubicon express 4.5 lift, has everything you need at a great price.
