Need part for rear window wiper arm

I have a 2001 Sahara hardtop and need the little "C" shaped wire clip that holds the tension spring in place on the rear wiper arm on a hardtop. I raised the wiper arm the other day to clean the rear window, heard a snap or pop, and the wiper arm went limp. I originally thought the spring just slipped off position but realized there was no way I could re-stretch it that far. A couple days later while cleaning the windshield I saw that the front ones are arranged the same way as the rear and I'd lost that little "C" shaped wire clip. It must have either broke or popped way out somewhere as i looked where I had been parked but no luck.

Has anyone ever had to replace this little clip, and if so where did you get it? The local Jeep dealer says he can only get the whole arm, $42. O'Reilly's can special order it for $31. All just a little expensive for a piece of wire probably not over 2-3 inches in total length.

P.S. Why did I just now when I clicked Submit, get a notice saying my message was too short. I clicked back a page, Submitted again and everything worked like it should.

O'Reillys price included a $10 freight charge, so it looks like most prices are going to be about the same (excluding the Jeep dealer). Thanks for your information.

Morris might give you free shipping for being a forum member but you have to check on that. Another option would be a junk yard.

I thought about a junk yard but those are scarce in my area and probably finding a wrecked Wrangler hardtop will probably be harder to find but I'll give it a try.

I have small springs that I use for more tension on my front wipers. I can take a pic in the morning. You can have my rear wiper instead if you pay shipping
