I love my 4.0L 2004 TJ, and there are a million things that I would LOVE to do to it... The problem is that I am uneducated about many of the mechanical aspects of them. So I'll ask my questions below, just respond to each question with the number of the question, and I would really appreciate it :)

1: I want at least a 3 inch suspension lift... General suggestions on a brand, or anything I should know about as far as researching kits more?

2: Body lift suggestions as far as a 3 inch suspension lift goes?

3: What exactly is the long arm upgrade kit for? It's included among the suspension lift kits, but are substantially more expensive. Just wondering if that is something I will certainly be needing to invest in?

4: What is a good price range for a kit, an average price, and a high price? I don't want to over pay, but I also don't want something that is too cheap and will have it's problems. I'd rather have something that is reliable and affordable.

This vehicle is my daily driver, but I also want to take it out for some off-roading. Nothing too extreme though, just easy - medium difficulty.

Thanks in advance!

1. Zone 3in lift or 4.25in combo lift would be a good lift. Many more manufactures make lifts like BDS, Teraflex, Rough Country, etc. Search around the forums for detailed reviews and install threads.
2. A Zone 4.25 combo lift is a 3in SL and a 1.25 BL that go together nicely.
3. Long arm kits move the control arm mounts farther back on the frame rails to allow for more suspension flex and higher lifts. Generally 4in+ suspension lifts should use long arms instead of short control arms. Any reputable lift under 4 in should work well without a long arm kit, but if you go over 4in things start to get expensive and not as streetable pretty quickly.
4. Rough Country 3.25in is $370, zone 4.25in combo is $530, OME is $1400 so there are some price ranges.
