New addition pic's and I need brakes.

So it's been awhile since I have been lurking around so I thought I would post some updated pics of my rig and list all I have done to it.

OR-Fab rear tire/can carrier which I love by the way that thing is built tuff as hell. I highly recommend this tire carrier.

Rampage front and rear recovery bumpers which are not done I still have to get the 4" lights to go in them. I am having a hard time paying $50+ for a pair of 4" driving lamps. So if anyone knows a good place I can pick up some cheap 4" driving lamps or foggers I would appreciate the info.

Flowmaster 40 "The Perfect Touch"

Rubicon Express 3.5 standard lift. The ride has been great so far I have no complaints. It was easy to install and handles very well.

Dick Cepek Dc1's there easy to clean not digging them as much as I was but they still look good.

Mickey Thompson Baja Claws these things seem to be wearing fast but we will see.

I am gonna have to do a brake job here soon any recomendations on an upgrade or should I just go with the standard Auto Parts store wonder?

You can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking your head up a bull's ass but wouldn't you rather take the butcher's word for it!

Looks good bud and welcome back. I like the smiley face...nice touch.

As for the 4'' lights...you can try just about any tractor supply type store or harbor frieght or even Wally world will have some cheaper lights.

As for the brakes....good ol' factory style replacements work fine. Easily picked up at any auto store. Not sure if you have drums or disc in the back but either way get the rotors and "if you have them" drums turned. Most O'rieliy's can turn them.

Thanks for the quick response, ya I kinda figured just some regular brakes would be good. I haven't tore down the rear yet to see if it's drums or not if it is I will be sure to get them turned.

I checked wally world for lightes all they had were some 3.5 euro bs. I didn't think about a tractor supply store I will have to give that ago.

Thanks

I love the DC1's. They're coming my way in about 2 months. I was looking at the same lift, too. The rig looks great!

Not just drums...get the rotors turned also.

Also no need to tear it down to check.. just look If it doesn't look just like the brakes you have on the front "which is disc brakes"....it's drums.

I've always liked that style of Cepek's.
However, I've never seen a set in person.
Are they not as nice as they look in the pictures, or are you just tired of them?

Ya I was gonna turn the rotors and I guess I should have been more clear by "tear it down" I mean when I get my lazy ass out there to do the job and look. Ive done a few sets of brakes in my life so I can't imagine these will be much diff or difficult. Thanks for all the help and recomendations.

Ahh the Baja Claws hmm I want to say I have had them about a year now keep in mind tho the jeep only has 18k miles on it and it's an 04 I would guess I have put about 10k miles on them.

I intend on rotating them when I do the brakes. Which will be a rear to front rotation since there directional based tires one negative about the claws. They look good tho and there not to loud but they seem to be getting louder.

The flowmaster 40 can't be more perfect imo it's not annoyingly loud but adds a nice little rumble. I don't know if I would even call it a rumble maybe a purrrr.......lol. Im happy with that mod to it was cheap $130 installed.

Cheap mods are always the best like the fog light relay overide and painted fender flares I would add that one to the list.

Oh there nice they always look pretty clean and when you wash them they look amazing. I don't really know I still like them. I think i'm suffering from jeep addiction and just would like to see a nice set of black bullets with yellow beadlocks. You know the grass is always greener no matter what fertalizer ya have.

I have the same sickness.
I love this forum, but it doesn't help it any.
Sometimes when I see different things on here,
I have to shut my machine off immediately, and just walk away.

I also have to stay away from the bathroom sometimes.
That's where my Quadratech Catalogs are.
