Talking New and Curious

Hey guys am new to the forum and relativity new to my TJ. I am getting some money and would like to invest in into my 98 tj... it already has a 6in lift, 4.88 gears, 35's, and headers, ect. What should be some upgrades i should have around 4 grand to put into it minus the shop, due to lack of time and know how. Any ideas?

Yea the list goes on and on. I have a winch and just put new 6in fenders on today. Im trying to make it harder to break than it already is, so i dont have to worry on the trails. I plan to put a river raider snorkel and rear bumper on as well as the full size tire. Thats all i could come up with.

What kind of axle ya runnin' in the rear?

Have you invested in any armor?

A good set of control arms from Rokmen would be nice too.

Depends on what you eventually want out of it.
But armor wouldn't hurt, nice shocks, ( mikemtj) said it right with the rokman CA's
New stronger chromoly shafts. Selectable lockers. New steering.

OR you could not make any decisions, send me the money and I could upgrade a few things.

Im running a 30 spline axel in the rear. No armor yet... that would definitly be a good investment tho, as well ad those shocks ill check em out. Everything on the jeep has less than 9000 miles on it as well. The guy i bought it from just put a custom drive shaft in. The steering upgrade sounds good any sugestions on which type?

Currie steering all the way. The currie tie rod and drag link are really beefy.
Savvy skid plate, gas tank skid, and sliders. ( Savvy is a GREAT company)
Savvyoffroad.com, check them out.
I just upgrades my shafts. I got Yukon 33 spline. They are actually 35 spline until about the last 4 inches on each side. At that point they taper down to 33.
