New and need alot of help please !

Not sure if this is the right thread to be in but im new so got no clue.

I own a 02 Wrangler TJ Sport, and i love it to death but lately
ive been looking at the body to height ratio and it doesnt look that well,
so lately ive wanted to get a lift on it, whether it be body or suspension im not sure i just want my body to be higher up and get bigger tyres.

but there is way to many things i dont understand and google doesnt explain it in english about what all these shockers and stuff are

I would like 33" muddies on it and a bit of a gap but not too much between the fender and top of the tyre, can anyone help?

Thank you

Welcome! I would suggest doing a search on this forum for budget boost. Sounds like the height you might be looking for and it's not a real pricey lift. Others will chime in and help point you to other options as well. It all depends on how high you want to go. A 2 inch budget boost will be just enough to clear those 33's

If looks are all that matters and you're not doing much serious offroading then my vote is also budget boost. It should get you that beefy look that you want and leave money in the wallet to buy some 33's.

I go 4WD every now and then but not on nothing too ridiculous..

if it was like this just higher up and bigger wheels id be happy, and if a budget boost is what you reckon then ill have a look into it

I hope it's a six cilinder otherwise it will not move anymore with 33" tires.

Even with a 4.0 you may want to regear (=$$$) or it will get sluggish and you can forget about 5th gear.

Budget boosts start at like $50 (ebay). Go for 2" or otherwise you will have to do a bunch of other stuff. You will need longer shocks too (you could try it with the stock shocks but they will be very short if you lift it 2").

And there is a really good Jeepforum in Australia: www.ausjeepoffroad.com

For 33's 3"lift might look and work better but then you can get start into driveline issues etc. A budget boost in the states with shocks runs $200-300 dollars depending on who makes it what kinds of shocks etc.
