New battery

Just looking for a little advice on replacing my battery. 2006 2.4L, I don't have a winch but I have 4 high power KC lights. I don't want a cheap Wal-Mart special battery but I also don't feel I need a $200+ diehard platinum either. I'd like a good battery to be able to hook up my lights without worry, maybe run a small power inverter off of sometimes while camping etc... Any suggestions on a good decently priced battery? Thanks!

I agree with LJDan - go to your local auto parts store, and buy the premium battery that they sell, which is usually the one with the longest warranty. I make a habit of replacing such batteries as they approach the end of warranty. Wet cell batteries are cheap enough, and one service call on my wife's WJ costs more than a battery, so on her Jeep when 12 months battery warranty remains, I start looking for a battery sale.

On my TJ I am running dual Optima Yellowtops. Since I have two, I am trying to see how long they last. Nine years and counting...

I've got 7+ years on the stock battery right now so it's time to swap it out. Thanks for the suggestions.

That's the one I went with, in 2010. No probs.
