New bumper

I wasn't looking, but I got a bumper anyway. A guy here in Charleston ordered a Fabtech rock bumper look-a-like for 100.00shipped from some ebay store. A week after he got it, another one showed up at his door. He called the store and they realized their mistake. They let him sell it for them and he sent them the money (after I bought it for 80.00 bucks) so they didn't have to loose money for return freight. It's about 30 pounds. Anyway, I got it. It is identicle to the Fabteck. I'll get it on this weekend. Here the official pic.

Here is the one the other guy put on his jeep.

Yep thats the one!

Except mine came with a lower skid plate on the front.

Here is the link to the guy who sells them
- looks like the skid plate doesn't come with them any more. The guy actually works for Trail-Gear. The one the offer on the site has 2 more little down tubes off the main hoop.

Looks good! That does look identical to the FabTech.

They aren't making that bumper anymore and do not have the center skid anymore. His current ebay auction is at 75 bucks with 29 for shipping.

AZ, if I decide to ever get one of these I'm comin to you for some measurements so I can make myself a center skid for it.

If anyone wants it, I've got an extra fabtech skid plate that I got with my bumper. I've actually had both the Fabtech and Trail Gear bumper and both well built and easy to install. You can use the stock fog lights but you'll need to buy fog light extensions as the wires don't reach

It's yours, pay for shipping and you got it. I wound up getting an extra one for free and it's still in the wrapper and the box, ready to ship. It's just like the lower skid plate in the photo

Hey Az, will your swaybar cover still work with that bumper? I noticed in all the pics that the covers were off. Just curious....

Cover is off because I don't have one But I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem.

Doesn't bother me as a winch plate and winch will fix that.

the stock cover works but for a winch you'd have to take it off for this bumper

Holly crap, how did I miss this post? Well, I guess I'll just have to get someone to make me one.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I want to eventually get a winch, but until I do I want to keep the cover over the swaybar and just wanted to be sure that it'll still fit.
Thanks, man......

if your putting a winch on the front of your rig your swaybar cover is going to come off anyway unless your going to cut it to fit around the winch plate.

I'm not putting a winch on YET. Until I do, I want to keep the swaybar cover in place because I think it looks better. I know it has to come off when I install a winch plate. I just hope that I can afford my winch sometime soon!!!
