This is what the 6 inch version will look like...taken from MCE's facebook page

I was looking at these the other day and thought seriously about them because my original fenders are starting to rust. I really need to find an inexpensive fix and have always liked the flat fender look. I was concerned with the fact that they are plastic but if Jerry Bransford ( The Jeep Guru ) recommends them then I'm sold.

Not quite model airplane type plastic, they are made from ABS... the same thing NFL football helmets are made out of.

I just installed my flattys today and I bought the same side marker lights (LED) and the JK grille lights as Jerry and several others. Something weird is going on... Only the light on the grille blinks when I turn the signal on however, with the parking light switch on, they both blink alternating from the grille light to the flare light. I'm wondering why this is?? I doubt I'll pass inspection in this working order, any suggestions?

The front side marker lights only turn on and blink when the parking or headlights are on with my TJ as well. Mine alternate front/side too when blinking. But that's how it is supposed to be, that's how it is with the OE lights too.

Whats the price on these fenders because I think I saw $184 on the site but in this thread I thought I saw $159...?

I ran into MCE at the vendor expo during EJS. They had the flared prototype on display and I got to touch it! They said they are so close to the release of the flared version. I am most definately going to be one of the first to purchase. After seeing it up close, I'm sold.

Thanks Jerry, yeah I don't understand why the sides don't blink at all with the lights off but I do know one thing, they look awesome!

They'd have to be in pretty bad shape, most of the OE fender is cut off before installing the MCE fenders.

Hey Jerry I like it a LOT, but I have a question for ya, I wanna keep the fenders like they are, but I'd totally love the turn signals below the headlights, so do they make a blank off plate or something to cover the hole where the turn signal is now so I can relocate them/

Go up to post # 89.

I'd leave the OE turnsignals there or paint the lenses over to match your Jeep's color rather than fill the hole with a blank. Besides, a painted-over OE turn signal lense would function beautifully as a blank.

I couldn't get a date of release or price. They said they don't have that info yet. He just said very soon and a little higher than the originals in price.
