New Creations

Ever hate when you're trying to make something new, but can't find anything related to it? That's what this thread is for. Feel free to post pictures of your "New Creation" that isn't on Google or the forum. Ran into that problem today while trying to make my "new creation."

It was going to be a surprise if i ever got around to doing it, but i want to customize my Jeep clutch, brake, and gas pedal. They are going to say Jeep across all the them. Haven't figured out how I'm gonna do it yet, haha.

Well cool! Be sure to post pics. Would love to see any new invention. What are you doing, if I may ask?

Here's my creation. Cost me about $7 overall. I was tired of not having interior lights. BTW my head unit is in my center console, locked.

Now they are painted to match my newly painted interior.
Next creation will be rubber floor mats which I will find a Jeep logo template and spray white paint on it. Like this but homemade http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA280_.jpg

Go to a machine shop with a CNC mill and have them cut out some aluminum plates with JEEP cut out of the center. Really all you should have to give them is the size of the pedal plates and size of the font. They should be able to write up a program in no time

Wow reissigree, I really like the Idea of having the head unit locked in the centre console, not sure if this is common but I've never seen it before.

My idea, i can't even begin to get off the ground...a Snorkel exhaust...sort of an homage to the korean willys, with the effectiveness of the military H1's. It would run along the frame of the passenger door on my TJ...

If you think about it the J and P are both twice as tall as an e so sizing should be good. I wish I knew of a shop, may have to start looking and dust off my CAD skills.

If the idea is "new" then by all reasoning, you shouldn't be able to google it and find your idea... that or I'm missing something.

I'm a fan of splitting the letters across the pedals. But its your jeep boss, make em how YOU like them.

Can you find a snorkel exhaust for a jeep CJ, TJ, or JK?...anywhere at all?

Yes, that's why you put your ideas on here so if someone wants to do it, without knowing you've already done it, they can look here. I would've never thought to do what reissigree did.

I'll look into the split parts. Thanks.

I'm with ya, slow day apparently. I thought you were saying something else... ya know what it doesn't matter. Lump together original ideas, I dig it.

I've not seen it on forum yet but if so sorry. I mounted my KC's own front hoop on bumper, drilled holes directly under each light and fished the wires up through the hoop so they wouldn't get torn off when wheeling.
