Finally got mine installed yesterday. Dropped the belly pan and sprayed the pan and frame with undercoating to stop the cancer. I also changed the transmission mount while I was under there. Man, that thing was rotten! Unfortunately my muffler didn't come with the nuts so I had to make a quick Lowe's run. They're metric 10 x 1.5 btw. After a few trips around town and a 2 hour highway trip, the initial stink is gone and it sounds great! Not much louder at idle or on the highway but throatier running through the gears. Hopefully this one lasts 119K like the OEM.

I got my rebate the other day, just in time for vacation. 75 bucks will buy us a nice dinner. Other than having to hack saw the old pipe apart out get it out, it wasn't bad. I had the kids do all the hard work.

I suspect his stock exhaust has a leak/problem and it won't pass emissions as it currently sits.

Dang. Day late, and a dollar short.
Paul is on to something below...

Man, you have some insight!!! Haha.

I am throwing an engine code for an exhaust leak. I need to get the Jeep inspected but can't because of the code (had it cleared, but need to put some miles on it to reset the computer). If it really an issue, the light will come back and I'll have to fix something.

The exhaust tone is not right. It has an abnormal drone to it.

There is no code for an exhaust leak. What one do you have?
