New fenders

I'm ready to make my next mod. I really like the Poison Spider Defenders. I was wondering if anyone is running them and how they hold up. If you have any other suggestions I should look at share it here

Thanks

Mud

All good but who is running PS defenders. I'm concerned they will bend easily by the looks of them. With the tube on the outside it seems they would be stronger than the new design.

I went with the Metal Cloak. I think all the big name fenders look great but Metal Cloak was the only one I found that you could order powder coated and cane with inner fenders. Here is a pic of mine from this past weekend at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park.

Big Fran, did you do the front, rear and rocker rails all at the same time? If so, how long did it take?

Yes I did everything at the same time. It took me about 3 days 3 to 4 hours a day with my son's help to get it all mounted. Here is a link to my build thread.

I just noticed that this thread is a year old, but if anyone else is looking at fenders, here goes.....I spent a lot of time researching this. Lots of good products out there, but I ultimately went with Metalcloak. Reason, no cutting required, and an outstanding three piece design, which allows for the fenders to be unbolted easily. All the parts fit perfectly, with no mods required. I also sourced the 3/4" LED Running lights, Turn signal lights, and Blinker relay on Amazon.

I have my brand new alumimum gen rights with a 3" tapered flare sitting in my shed, waiting to be installed. Just like everybody else I spent a LOT of time researching and finnaly pulled the trigger on the genright. i liked the look of the tapered flare, and the fact they are alumimum with an actual tube, unlike the PS. they seem to be top notch. When i adventualy get time to instal them i'll post some pictures.
